The Adult Sports office is located at Harney Sports Complex. The Adult Sports program offers free intramural leagues including flag football, volleyball, softball, soccer and basketball. Yearly special events include the CGSC/FMWR Triathlon, USDB/FMWR Great Escape Run, Run for the Fallen, CAC STB/FMWR Half Marathon, and MCTP/FMWR Turkey Trot. The Adult Sports program offers sports equipment for checkout free-of-charge.

Please note: Pre-registration for run events ends on the Wednesday the week before the run. You can still register on the day of the event. However, this will not guarantee a t-shirt and there will be no discount on the entry fee.
Important information about entering Fort Leavenworth: Fort Leavenworth’s Visitors Center is now open at the Sherman Avenue entrance at 4th Street and Metropolitan Avenue. All motorists without proper DoD access credentials or identification must go to the Visitors Center. Motorists with proper credentials use either Grant or Hancock Gates. Sherman Gate is open for OUTBOUND TRAFFIC only Mondays-Fridays from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Motorists using Sherman Gate to exit post should be alert for incoming visitor traffic and follow all road signs, signals and law enforcement instructions.
