School Age Services
The School Age Services (SAS) program provides before and after school care and summer enrichment and hourly care programs for first through fifth graders. Fees are based on total family income. The SAS program also includes after school enrichment, a homework center, staffed with teachers to assist patrons, and a technology lab, equipped with computers with the latest in educational software and with knowledgeable staff to assist with work or play. To pre-register your child for the before and after school program call (913) 684-5135 or 684-5137. On-site registration will be held in conjunction with post elementary school registration. Reservation:
Hourly care reservations for School-Age Services may be made starting on the 10th of the month (or the 1st working day after the 10th) for the following month. Those qualifying for AFC hourly care may reserve up to 16 hours on the 9th (or the last working day prior to the 10th) with remaining hours being made beginning on the 10th. Hours exceeding 16 AFC respite care hours may be made on the 10th of the month. Please call 684-7519 to make reservations or to obtain more information. Hourly care fee $4.00, daily rate $30.
All children must be registered through Parent Central to enroll in School Age Services (SAS) before and after school care.
