Parent Central will be closed 2:30-3:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month for Garrison Training Time.
New Registrations and Renewals:
Parent Central has an all appointment system for new registrations and renewals. Appointment required! After hour appointments are available if needed. Please schedule after hours appointments at least one day prior to needing the appointment so we can schedule a staff member. Fast Lane Services:

REGISTRATION PACKETS:

Registration Information:
Information on the Child Development Center (CDC), Family Child Care (FCC), School Age Services (SAS), and Middle School/Teen (MS/T) after-school, evening and weekend programming, Child and Youth Individual and Team Sports and SKIESUnlimited is available to eligible patrons. Eligible patrons for the Army Child, Youth and School Services programs include Military, DoD Civilians (NAF and APF), Reservists and National Guard on active status. Our knowledgeable staff has general information and flyers on all current CYS Services programming. After completing registration through Parent Central, the parents can enroll in programs with vacancies. In order to complete the registration process, the patron needs to provide the following information:
* Sponsor/spouse name, rank, duty station, duty phone number, AKO e-mail address and cell phone numbers.
* Home address, land line and cell phone number.
* Children's name, date of birth, and gender.
* 2 emergency designees other than the sponsor or spouse with phone numbers.
* Immunizations/shot records for children fifth grade and younger.
* Physicals/health assessments for children fifth grade and younger.
* Current sports physical to enroll in any sports activity. (Physical good for one year and must be valid throughout entire season.)
* Current medical action plans / Diet statement for special needs.
**For families enrolling in the CDC, Part Day Preschool (PDPS), SAS or for families requesting subsidies in the FCC program who have income $34,000 or less, proof of income including LESs/paystub is required to determine total family income.
**For Sole/Duty Military families, sponsor must provide information for long and short-term designees from their a DA form 5035 within 30 days.
WAITING LIST:
Parent Central coordinates with the CDC, FCC and SAS to establish and maintain waiting lists. Vacancies are monitored and children are placed through Parent Central. Families can put their children on a waiting list prior to birth or as soon as they know they will be coming to Fort Leavenworth. For more information on waiting lists, click here.
SPECIAL NEEDS:
Parent Central uses the information received from the registration packets to determine whether a child needs to attend a Special Needs Resource Accommodation Process (SNAP) meeting which is overseen by the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) and the Army Public Health Nurse. If required, the parent will attend a meeting and share information with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate placement and/or accommodations in CYS programs. Your child's registration cannot be completed without the required Medical Action Plan or Diet Statement, please bring current action plans (dated and signed by physician within last year) to your registration appointment to expedite the process. ONSITE CHILDCARE:
Outreach Services also provides Kids On Site (KOS) for group trainings/functions that take place at approved childcare sites such as Resiliency Center or Frontier Conference Center. Contact KOS Specialist to inquire 684-1663. A minimum of 3 week notice is needed to set-up childcare.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Parents who are interested in volunteering in Child and Youth programs should contact Parent Central. This includes volunteer coaches or someone who is interested in working four or more hours a week on a regular basis in a CYS Services program. Parent Central staff will outline volunteer requirements and initiate the necessary background clearances.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT:
Parent Central provides opportunities for parent education, parent participation and family special events. Parent Central oversees the Parent Advisory Boards to ensure parents are up-to-date on CYS Services information and can have input into policies and practices for CYS Services programs. The CDC/FCC board meeting the first Wednesday of every month, SAS and YS meetings quarterly.
