The United States Army committed $1.4 billion this fiscal year to improving the quality of life for Soldiers and Families.
The following is a list of Fort Leavenworth's initiatives.
ACS Initiatives
Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) instituted respite care program, summer camp partnership program with Child and Youth Services, Specialized Training
for Military Parents (STOMP) workshop and weekend bowling program
Family Advocacy Program partners with the Alliance Against Family Violence Center to provide advocacy and shelter support for Families experiencing domestic conflicts.
Right sizing of Army Community Service program resulting in 90% staffing
Establishment of the SFAC (Soldier and Family Assistance Center) program
Expand new parent support services
Establish Army Integrated Family Support Network
Develop and train mobile assistance teams
Expanded Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program

Expanded hours of operation at Gruber Fitness Center
