The Parent Advisory Forum at Fort Leavenworth is divided into three separate boards.
Each board provides an avenue for CYS Services administration to introduce program changes,
provide program information, address topics of interests and address parent and command issues.
They also provide parents the opportunity to raise issues of concern, work with programs to initiate changes and support programs through volunteer efforts.
The Child Development Services Parent Advisory Board focus is the Child Development Center, Family Child Care, Outreach Programs and issues involving children under six.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Child Development Center. Child care is available. Reservations may be made by calling 684-9351.

The School Age Parent Advisory Board focus is on School Age Services and issues involving children in 1st through 5th grade. Meetings are held the last Tuesday in October, January and April at 5 p.m. at the School Age Services Facility, Patch Community Center.
The Youth Advisory Board focus is on issues dealing with the Middle School/Teen Program, Youth Sports and SKIES programs. This advisory board will meet in conjunction with the Torch Club
and the Keystone Club, the youth leadership groups. These two youth leadership groups are active members of this forum along with parents. Meeting dates and times will be determined by the program and
publicized through information channels.
Parent participation is important for this program. We encourage all parents to participate and take ownership of these Forums. This is the voice for the parents in Child, Youth and School
Services programs.
